This study aims to develop an open and creative way of thinking, as a representation that emphasizes divergent rather than convergent thinking patterns, has high sensitivity problems in associative, elaborative turn be able improve the teacher's ability make new combinations learning process. which was held at SD Negeri 133 Jambi City. research design uses descriptive qualitative. Meanwhile, technique this purposive technique, namely determination informants is not based on guidelines or population representation, but depth information needed related problem. The results showed that: 1) Teachers were still focused curriculum due time hours study, well maintaining outcomes, 2) Empowering students' character tended maintain academic achievement school policies.
